Run, 4th, Run

In preparation for the 2012-2013 Field Day the celebs worked collaboratively with Mrs. White's and Mrs.Jones/Hardin's 4th grade classes to choreograph one amazing kick-off show! Working with this year's Field Day theme, Run Across America, they decided to go with a Run, Forrest, Run theme. They all worked together to piece together all the states  and add it to the 4th grade banner. The banner words were altered to say, Run, 4th, Run! They then practiced and perfected a choreographed routine that was spectacular. You can see the paparazzi pics of our final performance below...

I "mustache" you a question!

....and the question is... do you love Mustaches and Cinco de Mayo? The celebs of Harkreader Hills sure do. The celebrities packed their bags and took a learning adventure to Mexico. They learned all about the history of the Mexican holiday, Cinco de Mayo. They learned there were many similarities between the Battle of Puebla and The Revolutionary War. On their learning adventure they also enjoyed making homemade salsa and personalized mustaches. To end their celebration they enjoyed a delicious Taco Bar!
